Effective treatment, and specific stretching exercises so the pain doesn't come back or become chronic.
Tears, sprains or bruising: whatever the sport, you recover faster when you're treated early.
Insoles prescribed to your feet that correct how you stand, walk and run, for adults and children.
A strengthening programme that eases painful joints, plus treatment before and after joint replacement.
Often in the shoulder, forearm and hand. We treat the pain and find how the strain happened.
Stay strong, mobile and independent while living with Parkinson's, MS or after a stroke.
How we work
Book your assessmentWe assess your problem, find the origin of your pain, and most importantly provide a solution to prevent it coming back.
Treatments in the clinic
Every treatment starts with a full assessment. Then we use whichever of these suits your condition.
A hands-on treatment that mobilises tissues, encourages circulation and enhances lymphatic drainage.
Particularly effective for
A specific technique that reduces adhesions and scar tissue in injured muscle, tendon and ligament.
Very useful for
Manual therapy that relieves pain and muscle spasm, releases tension and improves flexibility in a joint, stretching and strengthening the tissue around the bone.
Particularly effective for
A comprehensive spinal technique that teaches you to safely reduce your neck, thoracic or back pain and improve function. It applies to acute, subacute and chronic conditions of the spine and sacroiliac joint, and the long-term goal is for you to manage pain through exercise.
Shockwaves (not painful!) are sent to the affected area to break down scar tissue, decalcify tendons and promote better healing, for acute and chronic soft tissue conditions. Benefits include increased blood flow and cell activity, pain relief and breakdown of scar tissue.
Particularly effective for
Reduces swelling, inflammation and therefore pain, and stimulates good quality healing in damaged ligaments, tendons, muscles and joints.
Very effective for
Very effective for inflammatory conditions. It helps reduce swelling and promotes healing of joints and soft tissue.
Particularly effective for
A full biomechanical assessment of how your weight transfers through your feet as you stand, walk and run. The Chartered Physiotherapist then advises which device you need and measures your feet for it.
A highly correcting orthotic made from a mould of your feet, to your own prescription. High-density material corrects, supports and absorbs shock, without bulk, for casual wear, work or sport.
A simpler customised device, ideal if you need less correction and control. They can be covered in materials to suit boots, shoes, wellingtons, work boots and sports shoes.
Prefabricated orthotics already engineered to a specific prescription. After your assessment we pick the one best suited to your feet. Heel cups are particularly effective for children who need support.
Physiotherapy starts as soon as the fracture is immobilised, to reduce pain and swelling, promote healing, encourage weight bearing and keep surrounding muscles and joints strong and moving. Once the cast is off, we continue until you've regained full function, including sport-specific rehabilitation.
People living with injury, disease or disorders of the nervous system benefit from regular physiotherapy. It can reduce symptoms, improve function and make everyday activities easier, with one-to-one assessment and a rehabilitation plan.
We can visit you at home or in a residential care facility. On the first visit the physiotherapist assesses your condition and how you move in your own surroundings, gives advice, and can measure you for a mobility aid. Then you get a treatment and exercise plan you can start straight away.
Family members are encouraged to come to the first session to learn how they can help. Visits can continue regularly for your rehabilitation.

10,000
steps a day for many of us. Every one of them starts at your feet.
Orthotics
People take between 5,000 and 10,000 steps every day. Feet that roll inward (flat feet) or outward (supinating) cause twisting and uneven weight through your foot joints, ankles, knees, hips and back. A properly measured orthotic corrects it.
Moulded to the shape of your foot, to your prescription.
Softer, and can include your personal prescription.
Ready-made devices adapted to your needs.
Can help with bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles and patellar tendonopathy, ankle pain, shin splints, knee, hip and sacroiliac pain, trochanteric bursitis and low back pain.
